Funding Application and Toolkit
The application period for 2010-2011 is now open.

Only qualified, 501(c)3, nonprofit organizations may apply. Certification Process
Agencies must qualify as certified providers in order to obtain funding from United Way of the Cape Fear Area. Becoming a certified provider allows an agency to apply for funding, but does not guarantee support. An agency is certified as eligible for participating in the UWCFA once, but is renewed on an annual basis. The documents requested in this initial application process will be kept on file and updated as needed. The agency is responsible for submitting the renewal documentation on an annual basis, beginning with the UWCFA fiscal year or when applying for funds. Any major change in staffing (i.e. Chief Executive Officer or Board Chair) must be reported to UWCFA in a timely manner, ideally within thirty days or less. Agencies will receive a letter detailing the certification decision.
